Morocco Winter 2011-2012

 Camels crossing the road.
Even though this happened later in the trip, it was so amazing that it has to go first.

We flew into Casablanca and spent our first night in Sofi.

Our home base was Aglou Plage 20km from the lovely town of Tiznit, Morocco south down the coast. Paul and Kel flew in from London to join us.

Sidi Ifni where we met Yousef the fisherman who offered us tea and a man who
who agreed to give Dan and Paul 100 camels for Kel and I.  Tee hee.  Yousef said he spent two years carving the stone behind Danji's head, hmmm.

Massa park filled with little fishing homes carved into the hills.  A fisherman let us come in to see.  He let Zane hold his octopus and showed us his drying muscles on the beach.

Tafraoute, the amazing red rocks in the Anti Atlas.

After our stay down south we spent the evening at Villa Daba in Esuaria on our way back up to Casablanca at this Maison d'Hote.

E
From Esuaria to outside of El Jadida on our way to Casablanca.  Stayed with Fatima at her maison d'hote.
So kind and very beautiful.

On the road.  From arrival to departure some sight along the way.
